The project proposes the transformation of an old bread factory in Moscow into a housing development. After diagnosing two issues—excess CO₂ in the city’s air and the lack of identity following the Soviet era—a tower is proposed to house both residential and industrial spaces. The industrial use of the site will be revived, and a varie ty of mycelium ornaments with CO₂ absorption capacity will be produced to be installed on the façades of the city’s existing buildings. This will transform the homoge nous nature of Soviet-era neighborhoods into new, recog nizable, and sustainable city icons. Additionally, green spaces and urban gardens will be integrated to promote biodiversity and encourage a healthier lifestyle for the residents. This proposal not only addresses the city’s environmental and urban challenges but also revitalizes a disused industrial space, turning it into a model of sustai nable and regenerative architecture
